Other Countries Affected by the Change
Several countries other than the United States of America are also implementing the same DST change (Canada, Bermuda), and other countries are expected to make similar changes.  For a complete listing of Worldwide Daylight Saving Time schedules, including countries that are changing along with the United States, refer to the Worldwide Daylight Saving Reference Page.

Why care about DST?

You are affected by the new DST change if:

• You are running a computer system in the USA, Canada, or Bermuda, particularly if the system is running an application that performs time-sensitive functions, such as scheduling or creation/validation of time or date stamps.
   

• You are outside of the USA, Canada or Bermuda but are running a computer system that interacts with or is integrated with systems in the USA, Canada or Bermuda that have transitioned to the new DST rules.
   

HP is providing patches or updates that will address the changes for your products as the result of the U.S. 2007 DST law.   Utilize this information to perform assessment of your HP products.  In some rare circumstances, based on your particular configuration and applications, you may encounter a DST issue that HP or your third party software vendor has not addressed, if so please contact HP Support.  This site is subject to change.  Please check back for updates.
